My 8 year old daughter, Samantha, is going into the 3rd grade this year. In one week school will be starting up again. Our back to school ritual is putting on a little fashion show with all the new school clothes. Today I will be featuring this little sassy pants.
Bow: Dillards Dress: FabKids.com Sandals: Walmart
This first dress was from the website FabKids. It's one of those monthly membership type places where if you order once you pay for the monthly "subscription" but you have the option to skip every month. These dresses run very small. I had to exchange it twice to end up with the right size. But it in the end it's super cute and I'm glad I went through all the trouble to exchange it.
Bow: Justice Top & Skirt: Walmart Sandals: Walmart
This little outfit is super adorable and both pieces were under $5.00. It's hard to tell by the picture but the graphic on the front of the tee is in glitter. There are also some cute faux patches on the attached vest. The skirt is a cute and swingy chiffon, ruffle skirt with shorts attached.
Bow: Grand Champ Bows Tee & Shorts: Kohls Sneakers: Walmart
Samantha's favorite thing right now is Minecraft, so I really appreciated Kohl's having a totally adorable girls' Minecraft tee. The shorts are by Mudd, and they also run very small. She normally wears an 8 and these were WAY too tight.
Bow: Grand Champs Bows Dress: Kohls Sneakers: Walmart
I think this dress was one of my absolute favorites. It's made of a very soft knit which will be great for our hot summer weather. The color combo is great and super trendy, and is also Sami's current favorite color, mint green :)
Head band: Hot Topic Top & Skirt: Walmart Sneakers: Walmart
This was another one of those cute and affordable, $10.00 outfits from Walmart. The little kitty face on the front is in glitter and the skirt has shorts attached underneath. The are the kind of little outfits that my daughter loves to wear because not only is it cute but it's also comfortable.
Backpack and Lunchbox: Justice
Samantha's favorite purchase by far this year is her new emoji backpack and lunchbox from Justice. The picture does NOT do this Justice. The print is absolutely adorable and it's made in a really sturdy material that is definitely made to last the whole school year.
Bow: Dillards Dress: Kohls Flip Flops: Walmart
This is another one of my favorites. This little dress is easy, breezy, and adorable. The neon orange is a great color for my daughter and the fit was perfect! However, I'm not convinced that these shoes are a keeper for this outfit. ;)
Tees & Shorts: Kohls Sneakers: Walmart
Both of these tees and the shorts are from Kohls and all were super affordable and the fit is great. I don't really know what a Shopkin is, but a shirt with adorable kawaii food on it is a win for me!
Bow: Dillards Top & Shorts: JcPenney Sneakers: Walmart
This tee is not only my favorite of the bunch, but it's totally true about my little princess. At least when she has this shirt on she comes with a warning!
Tee: Forever 21 Girls Shorts: JC Penney Flip Flops: Walmart
This was the first thing I've ever bought from Forever 21's girls department. And sizing was definitely an issue. I ordered the 9/10 because I've had sizing issues with my own clothes from there before. However, I think if I had the change to order again I would definitely go up a size because I'm a little afraid it's gonna shrink after I wash it.
Favorite Outfit of the Week
Button down & Graphic Tee: Hot Topic Plus Shorts: Torrid Sneakers: Payless
My favorite outfit of the week was 100% today's outfit. I have recently started binge watching Supernatural (currently on season 3) and can't believe I haven't been watching it for the past 11 seasons!!
